Theres Gold In That Silence

Can you remember a time in using the silence to make a point? If you consciously recall, you probably know your silence made more than just a point, but he made an exclamation point … and without a single word preceding it. Now that is powerful. Silence is a well known, but rarely used, powerful communication tool. Why is that? Because it can be used to transmit light or dark.

Using the sound of silence is truly "the" master of the art of communication. It is curious, the embodiment of a spiritual and socially acceptable passive assertiveness. The ability to remain silent confirms that you are in total control. It also confirms that the individual is disciplined and not take in the conversations that are counterproductive and energy drain. The silence can help us listen, keep a secret, serve in love and receive the very core of what is said. Silence can say "I really care." Have you ever had a conversation where all who were waiting for was for the speaker to pause, so that what you might say, I had to say? " You know, when you start planning to meet that had not even been told yet? We all have.

When this happens, do not absorb the entire contents of the conversation. Many variables influence our desire to lose focus on what our speaker is saying. For example: programming, which can be seen on television, mental, emotional and physical state and the like. Listen so that both the brain and heart are passionately aligned to receive the speaker's words. Strive to increase their understanding and place before his desire to be understood. Learn to be comfortable with silence and master self-control it requires. Only then can experience the "gold" in it.
